Data I process on this site

  • Server logs. My hosting environment automatically records technical data (e.g., IP address, date/time, URL, referrer, user-agent) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
  • Functional cookies only. WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies (e.g., for login/session, comments, preferences).
  • Content Delivery & Security (Cloudflare). I use Cloudflare to serve and secure the site. In doing so, Cloudflare may process your IP address and related technical data to provide caching, DDoS protection, and performance features.

Legal basis

I process technical data that is necessary to operate and secure this website under legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention

Server logs and other operational records are kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, and compliance, and then deleted or aggregated. Transaction data (Shopify) is retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

International data transfers

Cloudways, Cloudflare, MailerLite, and Shopify may process data on servers outside the EU. These providers implement standard safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes

If I change how I handle data, I will update this page and note the new effective date.
